Hide and Seek - Short horror film。。。。。

今日は"Hide and Seek"って
言うshort映画を紹介します。
"Hide and Seek"の意味は
「かくれんぼ」。

映画の内容は、４人の仲間が友達のジェイクの家に遊びに行く。しかしジェイクはまだ仕事中なので彼らに家のカギを渡し、先に行って待っててもらう。だが、ジェイクの家は停電。時間をつぶすために４人は暗闇の中でかくれんぼをする。
４人だけで遊んでると思ったら、何かがいる、、、？！

実は、このshort映画、
オレが作ったんです。笑
「カテイは音楽やってるから趣味はなに？」ってよく聞かれます。
趣味はshort映画を作る事です。

ラリアのいた時は、仲間と一緒にshort映画を作ったり、旅行や
イベントのビデオを面白くeditしたり、長い間旅する友達にビデオレター作ったり。

この作品もその一つです〜
仲間はみんな小さい頃から一緒の幼なじみです。
今はみんな仕事してるから夕方とか週末でこういうプロジェクトをしてました。
ウェブデザインしてる友達とかグラフィックデザインしてる友達もいるし。
だからこのポスターも友達が作ってくれました。

なぜホラーのshort映画を作りたかったって言うと。。
オレはホラー映画が大好きなんです。
でも、最近の映画で怖いって思った事がないんです。
いつも、「へぇ〜ここはスゴいな！どうやって作ったの？」って思うだけなんです。
その時、友達が、「じゃお前が作ったホラーだったら怖いんじゃない？」って言われてみんなと一緒に作ろうってなったんです。
しかも、幼なじみの仲間だし、これからみんな一人一人自分の道を進みだす時期だから、子供の頃みたいに何かを一緒にやって思い出に残したかったんです。

ストーリーをシンプルに考え、台本を書き、監督からカメラ、editまで全部オレが
やりました。
みんな忙しかったから多くて週２回ぐらいに集まって撮影しました。
このプロジェクトは、オレが日本に来る前に作った作品です。
オレにとっては最後（って言いたくないけど、、、）みんなと楽しめる時間だったんです。
オレが日本に旅立った後、４〜５人ぐらいは別々の道で海外に行っちゃうし。
最高な思い出でした。

この連中とは、毎年のハロウィーンに誰かの家を貸し切って、お化け屋敷みたいにしてpartyをやってました。当時のチーム名が"The Scare Crew"。

Today, I wanna introduce this short horror film called "Hide and Seek".
It's about 4 friends in a house with electrical failure, decides to
play hide and seek in the dark. They think they are alone... or are they?

The truth is, I made this movie. lol
Many people ask me "Kat, since you do music, what's your hobbies?".
One of my hobbies is making short films.

I made many short movies with friends in Australia, edit some
travelling videos or event videos more funny or interesting,
or even making a "Good bye" videos to friends who are
traveling away for a long period of time.

This movie is one of them.
The friends involved, are friends since we were all kids.
We practically grew up together.
Everyone works now, so we only get afternoon/ nights or weekends
to do these projects.
I have friends in the web design industry, and even friends doing
graphic designing. So this poster was done by one of my mates~

Why make a horror movie?
I love horror movies.
But lately, I haven't been scared at all by horror films.
I always think "Wow, that was impressing, how do they do that?".
but that's about it.
So one of my mates said to me,
"Why don't you make a horror movie yourself?"
That's when it all began~
We all decided to make this horror film.

I wrote the storyline, wrote the script, filmed and directed the movie.
Everyone was busy, so the most we could get together was
2 times a week.
We made this movie right before I came to Japan.

There's another reason why I wanted to do this project with everyone.
We are all at an age where we're all walking in our own different roads.
I wanted to get everyone involved one last time and make a project with
everyone like we used to as kids.
To me, this was probably the last time (I don't wanna say last time..) that
I get to spend time with all my close friends in Australia.
Coz after I left for Japan, many of them went interstate
or even overseas.
Good times.

Us guys called ourselves "The Scare Crew", coz every year at Halloween,
we organise a Halloween party~ Here's the blog from last year↓

There's funny and weird bits too.
I am an amateur, I filmed it on my old video camera, my friends are not actors~
It's my hobby, it's what I like to do for fun~
